The fourth of February is the first anniversary of the inauguration of the Austrian right-conservative/right-extremist government. Much has happened since. Things that probably would have happened with a different government as well (even if at another speed), for example the heavy cuts in social services and the aggravation of the neoliberal policy. But then there are also things that are different, like the aggressive policy against women, artists, migrants, political dissenters and generally all those who don't quite fit into this government's concept of the world. And: The racist atmosphere in this country has considerably intensified over the last year.

Because of all this, there have been regular demonstrations against this government for a year. These are supposed to prevent a fascist party being part of the government being considered normal. That's why there will be a demonstration organised by a broad alliance in Vienna on February 3rd. And therefore we're asking you to set actions against the Austrian government in solidarity with the resistance here on that particular day. Protest in front of Austrian institutions, inform the people in your countries about the situation in Austria, disturb the normality that has the blessing of the report of the EU's three wise men.
